IN-PROGRESS WORK
INDIVISIBLE INTERSPECIES ECOLOGICAL THRESHOLD
Micro-macro optical garden in Manhattan’s Flower District Will illuminate our interconnectedness with plant species from diverse geographies. This installation, synchronized with blooming cycles, ecological timekeeping, and interactions with insects and pollinators, will provide a multiscalar and multispecies perspective on urban ecologies and their temporal rhythms. This garden will serve as a public installation for experiencing co-becoming with ecological systems, emphasizing the interdependence between human and non-human lives. The intended outcome is to design and fabricate this multi-species visibility installation for public engagement / co-becomings.
